ABOUT US
Slickers is a non-profit, alcohol-free, social dance club. We
meet every second Friday evening,
from September to May
to practice all types of dancing.
Our music is varied to allow many different
dance styles like West Coast Swing,
East Coast Swing,
Cha Cha, Rumba, Waltz, Mixers, Two Step, etc.
We have a
nominal admission fee of $8.00 per dance
to cover the costs of the facility rental and drink cups.
We provide cold
drinking water but should you wish to bring your
own beverage you are more then
welcome to do so.
We welcome all interested dancers on their first visit to a
regular
Friday dance with a complimentary admission.
GENERAL INFORMATION
The May 1 dance will also be the Annual General
Meeting.
If you would like your ideas or opinions heard you should attend.
If you have any information that you would like to share, such as upcoming
Wedding Socials,
Charity Events, etc. contact Pam Bell and she will add the item to the General
Information Section.
